2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD

The new Silverado HD has arrived and brings with it even more power from the Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel (or gas) V8. Available in a variety of configurations, the new HD now has an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission standard and when it comes to power, the Duramax model produces 470 hp and 975 lb-ft of torque while the gas-powered variant delivers 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque. On the most powerful model, the Silverado HD can trailer up to a whopping 36,000 pounds. As for visual updates, the refreshed front end features a new fascia, new headlights, a new grille, and new dual-projector headlights on the LTZ, ZR2, and High Country models. 

You've also got 18" and 20" wheel options and a selection of appearance packages. The updated interior gets a whole host of tech upgrades such as a 12.3-inch-diagonal configurable driver information center and a 13.4-inch-diagonal infotainment display. There's also a redesigned wireless phone charger with a redesigned center console, leather and wood-wrapped surfaces, and hidden storage throughout the truck. You've also got an array of trailer assist technologies and a whole host of driver and safety assist technologies. 

The new Silverado HD will be available in the first half of 2023.
