2023 Mercedes-Benz C43

Mercedes-AMG introduces the C43, a new high-performance version of the next-generation C Class that comes packed with technologies used in Formula 1. Powered by the hand-built AMG 2.0L four-cylinder first used in the SL43 roadster, the compact sedan brings a mix of performance and efficiency, delivering 402 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque that gets it from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 165 mph when equipped with 19" or 20" wheels. It achieves this level of performance with the use of an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger and F1-derived NANOSLIDE technology that helps to reduce friction between the pistons and cylinders.

It's also paired with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission that features a wet start-off clutch and a rear-biased AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. It's also equipped with AMG Dynamic Select driving modes, AMG Ride Control with an Active Damping System, standard rear-axle steering, an AMG sport braking system, an AMG exhaust system, and a whole array of interior tech and amenities such as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch LCD center touchscreen, and an optional head-up display.
