The Kia Telluride continues to be a hot seller for the brand and automaker builds on the momentum with a refresh for 2023 that updates the styling, technology, and off-road capability of the midsize SUV. New design elements include an updated vertical LED headlamp design, an all-new bumper and grille, updated taillamps, a new rear fascia, and new wheel designs for every trim level. All models continue to use their 3.8L V6 that produces 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel independent suspension.
Joining the lineup are two new trim levels: the X-Line and X-Pro. Enhanced for off-road use, the X-Line has a unique radiator grille design, bridge-type roof rails, body-color door handles, 20" wheels, a 10mm higher ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, tow mode, and an upgraded Traction Control System. The X-Pro model takes all of those features and gets 18" black wheels, all-terrain Continental tires, and an increase in towing capacity that ups the limit from 5,000 lbs to 5,500 lbs.
In-car technology gets a big overhaul with a larger 12.3" navigation screen, an optional Full Display Mirror, optional Smart Power Liftgate with Auto Close, Digital Key for iPhone and Galaxy users, a built-in hotspot with 4G LTE connectivity, stolen vehicle tracking and immobilization, CarPlay/Android Auto support, Alexa and Google Assistant support, optional wireless charging, over-the-air infotainment system, upgrades, and an upgraded array of driver assistance and safety features.
