Ford's F-Series Super Duty range has received a big update with a full-on redesign that packs new features like a standard 6.8L V8 and is the first pickup in the U.S. to feature embedded 5G capability. Bringing new levels of power and capability, the new Super Duty lineup also offers a 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbocharged diesel option with upgraded exhaust manifolds, a 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission, standard four-wheel drive on XLT models and above, and a new Ford Upfit Integration System that lets aftermarket companies have access to the truck's electrical system and signals to operate their hardware (like cranes or plows) from inside the truck.
The trucks also feature Onboard Scales with Smart Hitch that can estimate cargo weight in real time, a 360-Degree Trailer Camera System, a Blind Spot Information System for Fith Wheel and Gooseneck, an industry-first Tailgate Down Camera and Tailgate Down Reverse Sensing System, Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, and Trailer Navigation that offers safer routes to better accommodate trailer dimensions and weight so you can avoid potential problems with low bridges and tight turns. There's also a full suite of safety and security features like Trailer Theft Alert and Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, a full-color heads up display, a 12" digital instrument cluster, four USB ports and an optional wireless charging pad, and up to 1,080 watts of audio performance from the optional 18-speaker B&O Unleashed Sound System.
The 2023 F-Series Super Duty line will be available early next year.
