Toyota is placing a heavier focus on the company's sports car DNA with the all-new 2022 GR 86. The company's Gazoo Racing division has brought new levels of performance to the rear-wheel-drive sports car with a 228 hp 2.4L flat-four, enhanced rigidity, and improved aerodynamics. The car is also quicker with a 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds in the six-speed manual model and 6.6 seconds in the automatic. The interior also sees a number of upgrades such as front seats with a deep bucket design and side bolsters, Alcantara and leather trim, a three-mode digital display, an 8-inch multimedia touchscreen with six-speakers standard (eight speakers for the premium model), and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

The Toyota GR 86 will go on sale later this year.
