
The Porsche Taycan EV gets a big boost in range with the new GTS Sedan and GTS Sport Turismo
Porsche has got a new variant of the Taycan coming to its dealerships in the near future, bringing a combination of sportiness, luxury, and efficiency. The new GTS variant will come in both the Taycan and Taycan Sport Turismo, adding a larger rear motor to deliver 590 hp and a 0-60 time of just 3.5 seconds. When it comes to charging the GTS models come standard with the 93.5 kWh Performance Battery Plus with 800-volt architecture, which is good for charging speeds at up to 270 kW. This translates into a charge time of 22.5 minutes will give you an 80% charge from 5% battery life.
The GTS adds a number of exterior updates that include a high-gloss black design elements, 20" Taycan Turbo S Aero Design wheels in satin black, and a blacked-out Porsche logo in the rear light strip. Additional features include GTS-specific suspension and performance tuning and calibration, larger front rotors, an updated Porsche Electric Sport Sound, a Race-Tex interior package, and door sill guards and interior trim in brushed black aluminum.
