Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan

The popular C-Class has long received a trickle of S-Class technology over the years but now it can truly keep up with its larger sibling, receiving big upgrades in technology, comfort, and performance for the 2022 model year. Reducing lines to a minimum, the new C-Class has a cleaner, sportier look while elements such as the hood's power domes and wide track width give it a stronger presence than previous models.

At launch, the sedan will be available with an electrified four-cylinder that produces 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. This engine also uses both a turbocharger and an integrated starter-generator (ISG) for smoother and more efficient performance. This is coupled with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive option is available as well.

The interior might be the biggest highlight of the new C-Class with a cabin that closely resembles the range-topping S-Class. A large 12.3" digital dashboard comes standard and there's an MBUX-powered 11.9" center display that helps to minimize clutter by replicating many of the traditional analog controls digitally through the screen. Additional features include Hey Mercedes voice assistant technology, augmented reality navigation, an optional 9 x 3-inch Head-Up Display, and the latest in Mercedes driver assistance technologies.

The new 2022 C-Class will be available early next year.
