Lexus reveals the second-generation NX crossover
Lexus has unveiled its second-generation NX crossover, which brings an updated spindle grille design, full-width blade taillamps, and a new Lexus badge at the rear. A variety of engine options will be available ranging from an all-new NX 350 2.4 Turbo with 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque to a performance-focused NX 450h+ Plug-In Hybrid with all-wheel-drive that can achieve 36 miles of all-electric range and a 0-60 time of six seconds flat.
The NX gets a big technology update with a standard 9.8" touchscreen, an optional 14" touchscreen, an upgraded Virtual Assistant, Digital Key support, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. The NX will also feature Lexus' latest Safety features, a Digital Latch system with Safe Exit Assist to avoid accidental contact with vehicles or cyclists, and an optional Digital Mirror is also available for a clearer view of the rear.
The new NX will be available later this year.
