
Jaguar's all-electric I-PACE gets faster charging and an array of upgrades for the 2022 model year
As Jaguar continues its progress to go fully electric, the company's first EV is getting a number of significant upgrades for the 2022 model year. The 2022 I-PACE receives a few exterior updates such as an Atlas Grey grille tip finish, a Bright Pack option with a Noble Chrome grille surround, Atlas Grey door mirror caps, Satin Chrome window surrounds, and an Atlas grey rear diffuser. There's also a Black Pack option that adds a gloss black finish to the rear badges.
An 11kW onboard charger will now come standard, allowing for 63 miles of charge in just 15 minutes when plugged into a 100kW DC charger. When it comes to technology, the I-PACE will feature the latest Pivi Pro infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support standard, a 16 speaker 825W Meridian 3D Surround Sound System, and available features such as a 3D Surround Camera and a ClearSight rearview mirror.
There's also cabin air ionization with PM2.5 filtration and standard safety features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist and Stop & Go, Head-up Display, Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Assist, Clear Exit Monitor, Driver Condition Monitor, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Design Recognition, and an Adaptive Speed Limiter.
