Audi has unveiled the refreshed A8 with bolder exterior elements and a more luxurious interior. The exterior has a wider Singleframe grille with a new look that ditches the horizontal slats of the previous model for a more futuristic motif. The grille is flanked by a more aggressive headlight design and redesigned side air intakes. The rear is updated with digital OLEDs that change their light signature based on the selected driving mode.

As for power, the A8 will be available with three engine options, which top out with a 4.0 TFSI that produces 453 hp and 486 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a 0-62 time of 4.4 seconds. Go up another level to the S8 model and you've got a biturbo V8 that produces 563 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a very quick 0-72 in just 3.8 seconds. It has not yet been announced which of these engines will make it to the US model.

The interior has been given a lounge-like feel with Valcona leather and Dinamica microfiber material options and an optional air quality package not only cleans the air but freshens it with its own fragrance. 10.1" displays can also be equipped in the rear and a powerful 1,920 watt Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound system is available for an immersive listening experience.
