2021 Mercedes-AMG E53

Mercedes has debuted a refreshed look for the E-Class coupe and of course, that brings an updated version of the high-performance AMG E53. Available in a coupe or cabriolet, the 2021 model gets a revised front-end that features the AMG-specific radiator grille with vertical slats, flatter all-LED headlights, a restyled bumper with an "A-wing" design, and high gloss black accent options. The rear also gets slightly refined with round twin tailpipes that can be finished in silver chrome or high-gloss black and the rear wheel arches have been redesigned for improved aerodynamics.

Performance comes from a turbocharged, AMG-enhanced 3.0L inline-6 with EQ Boost. This helps the car produce 429 hp and an additional 21 hp with EQ Boost, allowing for a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds (4.5 in the cabrio) and a limited top speed of 155 mph. Both models are fitted with 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive with variable torque distribution and an AMG SPEEDSHIFT 9-speed automatic transmission. The interior has also been fully updated with the latest MBUX infotainment system, a new AMG Performance steering wheel, a widescreen cockpit with dual displays, and the seating is finished in MB-Tex with DINAMICA microfiber standard.
