Mazda3 2.5 Turbo

Mazda fans have been awaiting a new performance-focused Mazda3 for some time now and while today's announcement didn't quite resurrect the Mazdaspeed badge, what they did announce is just as exciting. The 2021 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo is powered by a Skyactiv-G 2.5T engine that produces 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque when filled with 93 octane gas. Performance takes a slight hit but still manages a very impressive 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque on 87 octane gas.

The new model will also be equipped with i-Activ all-wheel-drive standard for enhanced responsiveness and grip. The exterior is further enhanced with larger tailpipes, 18-inch black aluminum wheels, a gloss black front grille and a lower front bumper decoration. Additional features include CarPlay and Android Auto standard, a Bose 12-speaker premium audio system, an 8.8" center display, a heated steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and an i-Activesense suite of safety features. With the Premium Plus Package, Mazda includes a gloss black rear roof spoiler and front air dam.
