The 2021 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL have arrived and the premium SUV launches with a more luxurious Denali trim and the brand's first-ever Yukon AT4. The new AT4 trim gives the new Yukon a bolder off-road look and a matching level of capability with four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension that allows for an additional two inches of ground clearance to give it a 32-degree approach angle when tackling difficult off-road terrain. The AT4 model will also have a two-speed transfer case, 20-inch Goodyear all-terrains, a Traction Select System with an off-road mode, Hill Descent Control, skid plates, and a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row seats.
The Denali model goes even more upscale this year with an exclusive interior that features wood trim with hand-stitched leathers, a high-definition Surround Vision camera, a 15-inch multicolor head-up display, rear pedestrian alert, fourth-generation Magnetic Ride Control, and options that include 22" wheels, a panoramic sunroof, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, and an Active Response 4WD system. Engine options will include a 420 hp 6.2L V8 and a standard 5.3L V8. Both engines will have stop/start technology and a Dynamic Fuel Management system to increase efficiency.
The new Yukons will be available this summer.
