Genesis fully reveals the third-generation G80 sedan

The car will feature a rear-wheel-drive platform with two turbocharged engine options.

Following their shadowy teaser earlier in the month, Genesis has fully revealed their third-generation G80 sedan, which debuts with an all-new look and an array of high-tech features. The new design of the G80 is described as "athletic elegance" with lines that create a seamless balance between sportiness and classic luxury. The interior of the car is based on the "Beauty of White Space" concept, which takes after traditional Korean architecture, making careful considerations like reducing the number of buttons and switches to create a cleaner aesthetic while also enhancing the interior's intuitiveness. 

The new G80 boasts quite a few bits of new tech such as advanced safety systems that include a number of driver assistance features such as Smart Cruise Control with Machine Learning. The car also features a Remote Smart Parking Assistant that can be controlled from outside of the car right from the key fob and a there's a 12.3" 3D instrument cluster can detect the driver's eyes. Power will come from two engine options: a 2.5L turbocharged inline-4 that produces 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque and a 3.5L turbocharged V6 that produces 375-hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. Both engine options will be available with RWD or an AWD setup.
