
Ford unveils the 2021 F-150 Raptor
Ford unleashes its third-generation F-150 Raptor into the world today, bringing more capability, more tech, and an updated design that's inspired by the F-22 fighter jet. Powered by a 3.5L EcoBoost engine, the new Raptor now has improved low-end torque, greater towing capacity, increased payload capability, and a projected range of over 500 miles. The engine can also be paired with a first-in-class active valve dual exhaust for a more aggressive engine note.
As for its off-road capability, Ford has improved is five-link rear suspension for improved handling and acceleration and Fox Live Valve internal bypass shocks allow for improved comfort both on and off-road. Additional features include 35-inch and 37-inch tire options from BFGoodrich, a Terrain Management System, Trail Control, a customizable 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12-inch center screen, over-the-air upgrade capability, a Sync 4 infotainment system, and an optional 18-speaker B&O Unleashed sound system.
The 2021 F-150 Raptor will arrive this summer.
