Porsche Boxster 25 years

The Porsche Boxster is marking a big milestone as it celebrates its 25th birthday this year and to commemorate the occasion, the company has released a limited edition 718 Boxster GTS 4.0. Borrowing design elements from the original model from 1996, the Boxster 25 features Neodyme finished wheels and side scoops against a choice of a GT Silver Metallic, Jet Black Metallic, or Carrara White Metallic exterior. The interior replicates the Bordeaux Red cabin of the original model and is also matched with a red fabric roof.

The Boxster 25 is powered by a 394 hp 4.0L six-cylinder boxer engine and is available with a six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. 0-60 happens in 3.8 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 182 mph. Other features include Porsche Active Suspension Management standard, Porsche Torque Vectoring, and a Sport Chrono Package.

The Boxster 25 is available now for pre-order and hits showrooms this Spring.
