The refreshed 5-Series sedan is here and it brings an updated look with cleaner surfaces, a new take on the Kidney Grille, and a new Adaptive LED headlight design. The rear of the car has been updated with new trapezoidal tailpipe finishers and new L-shaped taillights with black edging and three-dimensional lenses. The car can also be equipped with an M Sport Package that features redesigned front and rear bumpers, larger front air intakes with mesh inserts, and a new rear diffuser panel.

The new 5 Series lineup will come with four engine options: a 248 hp 530i, a 288 hp 530e, a 335 hp 540i, and a 523 hp M550i. Every model will have an xDrive all-wheel-drive option and the six-cylinder 540i models will have 48V mild-hybrid technology. The interior will feature their Live Cockpit Professional with iDrive 7 standard and that comes with a 12.3" digital instrument display and a 12.3" digital central touchscreen. This includes Apple CarPlay and Android Audio compatibility.

The refreshed 7th Generation 5 Series is available for order now and the first deliveries are set for July 2020.
