Porsche is completing the current-generation Macan lineup with the sporty 2020 GTS model. The new model will be powered by a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 that produces 375 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, which makes the Macan GTS capable of a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds or 4.5 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package. Stay on the gas and you'll hit a top speed of 162 mph. The sporty crossover will receive a number of performance-focused updates such as standard adaptive air suspension, a Sport Exhaust system, and 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels, which can be equipped with an optional Porsche Surface Coated Brake with tungsten carbide coating or a Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system.
The GTS trim has a number of visual upgrades that will help differentiate the model against the other trims with a Sport Design package that updates the front and rear trim as well as the side skirts. As with all GTS models, there will be black accents through the exterior and darkened front and rear lights to complement the black trim elements. The interior is outfitted with materials like Alcantara and brushed aluminum and a leather multifunction sport steering wheel and sport seats are fitted as standard equipment.
The 2020 Macan GTS will hit dealerships in summer 2020.
