Mercedes-AMG's 2020 GLC 43 SUV and Coupe have been revealed and the new 2020 models are bringing updated styling and an increase in power. The 3.0L V6 biturbo will now produce 385 hp, a 25 hp bump from the previous model. Handling and agility have been enhanced via a rear-biased AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and when it comes to speed, both models will hit a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds. Top speed is limited to 130 mph and can be increased to 155 when equipped with summer performance tires.
As for the exterior, both models receive AMG-specific grille updates with vertical chrome fins, which are flanked by a redesigned set of LED high-performance headlamps. Additional exterior enhancements include AMG-specific side sills, aerodynamic wheels, and a revised rear end. The interior will also get sport seats standard, MB-Tex / DINAMICA upholstery with contrast red stitching, aluminum trim, and a revised steering wheel design. As for tech, the GLC 43s will have the latest MBUX infotainment system, the Hey Mercedes voice assistant, and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25" touchscreen display.
The new GLC 43 models will be available later this year.
