2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible

Chevy dropped a lot of jaws when it finally revealed the next-generation ZR-1 and now they're following up that announcement with the first ZR-1 convertible in over 40 years. What's really impressive is that the convertible's performance will match the coupe due to the car's strong structure and suspension tuning that lets it hit that incredible top speed of 212 mph.

That speed is achieved via the mighty 6.2L LT5 engine that produced 755-hp and and 715 lb-ft of torque. Early tests has the car getting from 0-60 in under 3 seconds and a quarter mile in the 10 second range can be achieved with the eight-speed automatic transmission. According to Chevy, it will also boast the most aggressive exhaust note of any Corvette and can be adjusted with four modes and sound levels that include: stealth, tour, sport, and track.
