Teased less than a month ago, Chevrolet fully reveals the all-new 2019 Silverado, which is now up to 450 pounds lighter and boasts a sleeker, more aerodynamic design, eight trim options, and six engine/transmission choices. The new Silverado is not only lighter, but the truck stretches its wheelbase by 3.9 inches, which adds 1.6 inches for more cargo and cabin room.

New engine options will include a 5.3L and 6.2L V8 with cylinder deactivation for increased efficiency, as well as a brand new Duramax 3.0L inline-six turbo-diesel. The 3.0L and 6.2L models will be offered with a Hydra-Matic 10-speed automatic transmission.

A variety of trim levels will be available, from work-ready variants to an all-new performance-inspired RST model with 22-inch wheels. At the top-of-the-line, the High Country model features an exclusive grille with two-tone chrome and bronze finish, body-color accents, chrome assist steps, and a powered up/down tailgate standard.

The new Silverado will be available this fall.
