2019 Acura RDX

Acura has revealed the production-ready RDX that signals a new era of design, performance and luxury for the premium car brand. Set for release in the middle of the year, the new RDX hasn't really changed from the preview model shown earlier in the year, but now we know all the official features and specs that will be available in the new SUV.

It will be powered by a direct-injected and turbocharged 2.0L V6 that produces 272-hp an 280 lb-ft of torque. That engine will be accompanied by the first 10-speed transmission in its class and torque-vectoring SH-AWD that allows for up to 70% of the car's torque to be sent to the rear wheels, which individually can use all of the car's torque for better control.

The luxurious interior will be available with a mix of premium materials such as brushed aluminum, stainless steel, open pore Olive Ash wood, Ultrasuede, and Milano leather. The interior will also include a 10.2" touchpad interface, compatibility with Apple CarPlay, and Acura ELS Studio 3D audio that is powered by a 16-channel, 710-watt audio system.
