Joining the Evoque, Sport, and the Range Rover, the Velar adds a sleek new design language that may just be one of the best looking cars to wear the Range Rover badge. The car makes an aggressive design push with exterior details and refinements that include things such as flush glass and flush-fitting door handles, a major evolution of their in-car technology and user interface, and interior updates like the use of custom fabrics developed in partnership with the popular textile experts over at Kvadrat.

The car will also tout Range Rover-grade performance to match. The Velar will see a number of high-performance engine options that includes an Ingenium diesel, all-wheel-drive, over 2 feet of wading depth, an electronic differential, and almost 10 inches of ground clearance.

The Velar goes on sale later this year and will be built in the UK.
