The RS models from Audi aren't exactly the most practical choices in their model range, but the company wants to offer the best of both worlds with an engine that still puts down some impressive performance numbers while also focusing on efficiency. To accomplish this, Audi built a 2.9L V6 biturbo that produces 450-hp and 442 lb-ft of torque while achieving great efficiency than the model it replaces.
It can't wear an RS badge if it's not quick and the new RS5 definitely delivers in the speed department. 0-62 happens in 3.9 seconds while moving rapidly toward its top speed of 174 mph (with optional dynamic package). The car also debuts the company's new RS design language, taking its inspiration from the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO.
