As grateful as we are that Mercedes is still bringing the new E400 wagon to our shores, we can't help but drool over the Europe-only E43 4MATIC from AMG. The five-door rocket has a more powerful 3.0L V6 biturbo that produces 401 hp and will get from 0-62 in just 4.7 seconds. Top speed is limited to 155 mph.

That engine is matched with their 9G-TRONIC automatic that has been tweaked with shorter shift times and features multiple downshift functionality as well as double-declutching in the car's sport mode. You've also got 4MATIC all-wheel-drive and a sports suspension based on their Air Body Control suspension technology.
