Toyota aims to continue dominating the hybrid market with its 2016 Prius

With over 3.5 million sold, its safe to say that the Prius has been a big hit for the Japanese automaker who pioneered the hybrid category. This year, the company has unveiled the fourth generation of the beloved hybrid and just like its older siblings, the car's design is as polarizing as ever. Love it or hate, the car continues to fly the efficiency flag and a new Eco model that is even more efficient will soon be unveiled as well. 

The car is longer than the outgoing model growing a little over 2 inches in length and is slightly wider and lower bringing a more aggressive stance and as the same time increasing interior space and cargo room. No word yet on pricing, but we imagine it'll be in line with the current Prius MSRP. As for its release date, you can look for the Prius at dealerships early next year.
