Unveiled in 2012, Mercedes' sixth generation SL is officially debuting its 2016 refresh complete with an all new hood, bumer, and rear. The front-end receives a number of styling cues from the current design language with its diamond radiator grille and a new set of power domes that give it an aggressive look that perfectly complements the powerful new engine options.

At the entry-level you'll have the option of a 362-hp V6 in the SL450, a 449-hp V8 in the SL550, and the SL63 and SL65 AMG models that push out 577 hp and 621-hp in the top-of-the-line V12 model. Those engines will also debut alongside a new 9-speed transmission with five transmission modes, Active Body Control to keep the car firm and planted, and an improved vario-roof that can open and deploy at up to 25 mph.
