Dodge has unveiled the next version of its American Club Racer variant of the Viper and not only does it hit the streets as one of the most aggressive Vipers in production, but it is also the fastest street-legal, track-ready Viper in ever made. Dodge's halo car gets a series of upgrades including improvements to the car's aerodynamics and suspension.
The car's aerodynamic kit features an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, rear carbon fiber diffuser, removable hood louvers, and additional dive planes. Suspension tweaks include 10-setting, adjustable Bilstein shocks, and a special set of Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes are exclusive to the ACR via Brembo.
At the heart of the car is the Viper's now signature 8.4L V10 that produces 645 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Transmission is a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual. Production of the car will begin later this year in Detroit.
