It has been 40 years since the Scrambler name adorned the tank of a Ducati motorcycle and this year the Italian bike builder is bringing it back in a big way with a classic design that is fully modern in its performance and construction.

Ducati isn't calling their Scrambler a retro bike, the idea is behind the Scrambler is what it would be today if it was never discontinued. It will be available in four versions: Icon, Urban Enduro, Full Throttle, and Classic. The bikes will be powered by a oil and air-cooled L-twin two-valve 803 cc engine and will make its way to dealerships in January 2015.
