1979 Porsche 935

It's not every day you see a 935 hit the auction block, let alone one owned by Otis Chandler, the former and famed publisher of the Los Angeles Times. One of the final 935s produced, the car came equipped with an inverted gearbox and larger brakes and was delivered in "Vintage Racing Blue" to match Chandler's 917/30. Chandler raced the 935 just once at the Grand Prix of Endurance in Riverside, CA and kept the car in his private collection until 1993. It was then restored by its current owner, who kept the 935 in a collection of historic racing cars for the past 15 years.
