Bonhams is bringing a 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial Spider to their Scottsdale Auction

Bonhams has got its hands one quite the Ferrari for their Scottsdale auction next month. Originally owned by Pofrio Rubirosa, who was considered to be one of the world's most famous playboys, Rubirosa raced the '54 Mondial Spider in Santa Barbara and then sold it to famed Porsche enthusiast and dealer, John von Neumann. One of 12 produced, the rare Mondial has been carefully restored by Ferrari Classiche in Modena and received a bevy of awards including 1st in Class at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and the Platinum Award for Best Restored Ferrari from the Ferrari Club of America.

The 1954 Ferrari Mondial Spider will go on sale January 17th at the Bonhams Scottsdale Auction.
