No, you're not looking at the latest in Garmin GPS devices, Garmin is releasing their very own cell phone, the nuvifone. The phone itself features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, High Speed 3G access, Google Local search, and geotagging capability with the phone's camera. [$TBD]

Nokia 8800 Arte

nokiaarte.jpg

I would compare the Nokia 8800 Arte to an Aston Martin, sophisticated without being overtly pretentious. There are a few phones out there that market themselves purely as a luxury phone, but none of them pull it off as well as Nokia. The 8800 Arte is encased in a mix of metal and glass with a number pad supported by state of the art ball bearings. The phone itself features a 2 inch, 16 million OLED color display, 3.2 Megapixel Camera, 1GB of onboard storage, and an antismudge coating. The phone also includes a leather case, docking cradle, and a matching bluetooth headset. [$TBD]

T-Mobile Shadow

tmoshadow.jpg

Phones that do both e-mail and multimedia well, tend to be more expensive especially if you want to have all of that without sacrificing things like WiFi and a decent camera. T-Mobile's Shadow fortunately lets you have your cake and eat it too with all the bells and whistles you expect in a high end device with an entry level price tag. The device features a slide out keyboard (similar to Blackberry's Suretype), Windows Mobile 6.0, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 2 Megapixel Camera. [$150]

Nokia 6500

nokia6500.jpg

Some of us don't really need all the bells and whistles that more of the newer cell phones are offering, some of us just want a phone. Nokia's 6500 gives you a lot of the latest features like A2DP, a 2 Megapixel Camera, and 1GB of internal storage, but it does all this in a thin, sleek, and simple design without a bunch of buttons and intimidating features you won't need. Plantronics Voyager 855

plantvoyager855.jpg

With all the new and upcoming mobile devices supporting Bluetooth stereo, its probably a good idea to start looking at stereo headset models rather than the typical mono Bluetooth earpieces. Plantronics gives you the best of both worlds with their Voyager 855 which can be used as a regular mono headset for voice calls as well as a stereo Bluetooth headset for music via the detachable cable. The Voyager 855 also features a sliding boom, AudioIQ noise filtering, and 7 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time on a single charge. [$150]
