Inspired by motorsport and their relationship with the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team, IWC introduces the new Ingenieur collection for 2013. Headlining the collection is the $290,000 Constant-Force Tourbillon, an incredible feat of watchmaking touting a hand-wound movement that contains a constant-force mechanism integrated into a tourbillon, 96-hour power reserve w/ indicator, perpetual moon phase display with double moon phases for the southern and northern hemispheres, all housed in a platinum and ceramic case. Other new introductions include a carbon fiber model (bottom - $26,400), a perpetual calendar with digital date and month, and a sporty titanium/ceramic chronograph with stopwatch function (hours, minutes, seconds) and a split-seconds hand for intermediate timing. Views of the last two watches are available after the jump. IWC
