Shinola Bicycles

Last week we showed you Shinola's watchmaking prowess, now let us show you their other project: High-end, American-made bicycles. This April, the company will be presenting their wares at the Super Bowl of watch shows, Baselworld, and will be highlighting their bicycle range with a stunning one-off bike that's brass-plated from top to bottom. The bike is based on their Runwell production bike ($2,950), a bicycle built in Waterford, Wisconsin and assembled at Shinola's state of the art facility in Detroit. Built to last, the design is inspired by French Porteur bicycles, but updated with rugged, handmade steel frames and forks coupled up with an 11-speed Shimano hub. The bikes are available today and start at $1,950. Shinola
