Forecast Sketch

If you're still shopping around for a snowboard this season, you may want to consider checking out Forecast Snowboard's Sketch model. The Sketch is a versatile board that features a full contact wood core, high density micro textured sintered base, and carbon fiber inlays for enhanced edge response. The coolest feature though, is the inclusion of markers to customize the look of your board and let your inner-Warhol run wild. [$350]

O'Neill NavJacket

If you ever get lost while on the mountain O'Neill's got a new jacket that will make sure you make it back to the lodge and lost in the backcountry to get your head bitten off by a Yeti. The GPS unit inside the jacket uses speakers inside the hood and a display on the arm to deliver up to the minute weather conditions, current speed, route details, and distance. The NavJacket can also work with your mobile phone to give you 3D views of resorts and points of interests. Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait for the NavJacket to hit the shops, it won't be available till the 08/09 ski season. [$TBD]

Giro Omen Helmet

We wouldn't exactly call ourselves pros when it comes to snowboarding, but we've been dumb enough to attempt tricks only superhuman pro riders can pull off. That's why we've decided to trade in our beanies for better protection this season. We like Giro's new Omen helmet because of its adjustable fit and thermostat controls, and you can even accessorize it with attachable bluetooth or wired headphones. [$199]
