Monocle Tokyo

While we wish for a permanent Monocle Shop to finally hit California (C'mon, what's the holdup, Tyler?), we jealously watch as Tokyo gets a new Monocle shop, a complement to their already existing Tokyo Cafe. Opening this month, the shop is located in the Tomigaya district, southwest from Yoyogi Park. Inside you'll find the latest Monocle Shop goods, collaborations, and a selection of Monocle issues both past and present.

Parabellum Los Angeles

LA-based leather goods label Parabellum opens their first flagship location on Melrose, featuring their full range of bags and accessories. The range of bright and bold colors stand out beautifully inside the white space and offers a great alternative to the traditional luxury brands that line the street.

The space is decorated with custom furniture including an incredible sofa wrapped in their signature bison leather and their love for once almost extinct species extends to the wall with a massive hand-drawn art piece by Rick Shaefer. The shop is located on the corner of Melrose and Harper, which you can't miss as the shop is located right across the street from the iconic pink Paul Smith LA store.
