Honda's CB1100 is definitely an example of retro done right and as shown above its sure to get a rise out of cafe racer fans. Not much is known about the CB1100 or if its going to get a Stateside release, but with all the positive buzz its getting we can't imagine Honda won't consider a release in the near future. Link

Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Mission One Motorcycle

Neiman Marcus isn't phased by the reports of the slowing economy. They've just released this year's Christmas Catalog and its chock full of expensive goods to excite you lucky, Black-card toting consumers. One of the highlights of the catalog is a limited edition Mission One Motorcycle, a green superbike that can hit a top speed of 150 mph while not sipping one ounce of gasoline. The bike features a range of 150 miles on a single charge and will be made in a limited edition of 10 bikes which will have a special paint job, Neiman Marcus plaques, and exclusive wheels. Getting a new Ducati is going to be slightly more accessible this year with the release of their Hypermotard 796. The lightweight 796 clocks in at a dry weight of 396lbs and will have a twin-cylinder engine capable of producing 81 horsepower and 55.7lb-ft of torque. Wrenchmonkees is a custom bikeshop in the Danish capital who specialize in building exclusive, classic cafe-racers for discriminating motorcycle aficionados.
