ICON Aircraft is hoping to make light sport aircrafts just as common and accessible as a recreational speedboat with their ICON A5. The A5 is a two-seater lightweight aircraft which is powered by a ROTAX 912 that produces 100 hp and is capable of bringing the A5 to a maximum speed of 120 mph. There will also be an amphibious model which allows it to fly off land or water. Sea-Doo RXT-X
Piloting the Sea-Doo RXT-X is pretty much the water based equivalent of sitting on a cruise missle. With 255 horses under the hood you'll be hitting 50 mph in 2.9 seconds. 2.9 seconds! All that power comes from a supercharged 1494cc, four-stroke, intercooled Rotax 4-TEC engine. The RXT-X also includes a learning key that limits the rpm and speed to 35 and 50 mph, watertight digital ignition, and an extended range 15.9 gallon fuel tank. Link: $13,300
Motorized Monocycle
The Motorized Monocycle gives us hope that all the those cool toys we see in our favorite sci-fi movies are becoming reality. The Monocycle can move upto 25mph and is powered by a 33cc, four stroke 1 1/2 hp engine which can run for two hours on less than half a gallon of gasoline. Steering the Monocycle is done by simply leaning to either side and acceleration and braking are operated via finger throttle and hand brake.
