Whether you're making a trek to the Dogfish Brewery or need a good place to crash in Delaware this summer, the brains behind the popular brew are opening a new hotel just 11 miles away from their brewery in the neighboring town of Milton.

Designed in collaboration with Brooklyn, NY's Studio Tack, the former motel has been thoroughly revamped into a 16-room boutique that overlooks Lewes Harbor. Rooms feature outdoor patio seating, moveable cedar screens, and collaborations with brands such as Apolis, Black Point Mercantile, Etrine, The Hill-Side Mills, and Stephen Kenn. The hotel is already taking reservations and starts at $200 for a standard room and $400 for a suite.

The Peninsula Paris

From Manila to New York to Beverly Hills, The Peninsula has made a pretty sizeable imprint in the world of luxury hotels, but they have yet to launch a property in Europe. This August that all changes with the opening of the Peninsula Paris, their very first European property which will be located just minutes from the Arc de Triomphe.

The hotel will be opening inside the a historic 19th century classic Haussmanian building which has gone through a thorough renovation for six years and will feature 200 guest rooms of which 34 will be suites. The hotel will have a variety of dining options including Lili, a new Cantonese dining experience and L'Oiseau Blanc, a bar and terrace offering contemporary french dishes where you will be surrounded by 360 degree views of the city.

Delano Las Vegas

Miami's Delano hotel will be making its way west this fall as the brand re-envisions Mandalay Bay's "THEHotel" tower to complement the South Beach favorite. The 1,100 room tower is just one of the four properties leading their expansion and will feature a bathhouse spa, dining options from chef Alain Ducasse, and exclusive private pool which will open in 2015.

The Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London

Luxury hotel chain, Shangri-La, opens the doors to its latest location inside the tallest building in London, The Shard. 202 guest rooms are located in the building's 34 - 52nd floors and is the city's first high-rise hotel, offering unrivaled views of the UK capital. As for the rooms, they are some of the largest in the city with an average of 452 square feet and feature signature Shangril-La amenities such as the Shangri-La Bed, complimentary internet, marble bathrooms with heated floors, and butler service is available to all rooms. The hotel will also have three dining and drinking options: Ting which serves Asian specialities using locally sourced ingredients, Lang, a patisserie and deli, and Gong, a champagne and cocktail bar.

Grand Seiko GMT

Switzerland isn't the only country putting out incredible in-house movements at this year's Baselworld trade show. Japan has some serious horological hardware with a new Grand Seiko GMT that houses their new 37-jewel 9S86 automatic movement which features a GMT complication, runs at 36,000 vph, and has a power reserve of 55 hours.

For the Sydell Group's (Nomad, Saguaro) latest venture they've assembled a dream team of purveyors of good taste, dining, and nightlife: Roy Choi (Kogi), Houston Brothers (La Descarga), and interior designer Sean Knibb (A-Frame). Located in Koreatown, the 388-room boutique destination will feature Roy Choi's new restaurant, Hot Pot, the Vegetarian-friendly Commissary, a mid-century style lounge called Speek, and design-driven retailer, Poketo.

Beginning next summer JetBlue will launch Mint, their new premium class program that will be offered on their New York/Los Angeles and New York/San Francisco routes. Mint will features lie-flat seats (the longest in its class), four private suites, massage seats, 15" screens with DirecTV, Dual 110V power outlets w/ powered USB ports, air cushions with adjustable firmness, and a "Wake me for Service" button. Mint flights will also provide "comfort food with a twist" with a menu created by New York's Saxon + Parole and beauty/grooming subscription service BirchBox will design the amenity kits which will be updated with new product several times a year.

Recently opened after a year of work and a $30 million dollar investment which transformed an old wool store and factory into a prime boutique hotel space. The 1888 is also calling itself the first official Instagram friendly hotel, big time Instgrammers with 10,000 or more followers get a free night at the hotel and guests who Instagram the best photo of the hotel with the hashtag #1888hotel have a monthly chance to get a free night's stay. As for the property, it mixes contemporary design and an industrial aesthetic with exposed brick walls, Minotti furniture pieces and considered details such as custom-made desks made from reclaimed wood from the original foundation of the wool factory.
