Colorware Custom Guitar Hero Guitars

Colorware has opened up their custom coloring studio to all you wannabe shredders with a custom paint program for Guitar Hero Guitars. Custom coloring will be available for the 360, Wii, and PS3 versions of Guitar Hero and while you can't go crazy building a Van Halen-style Frankenstrat — almost everything on the guitar can be colored from an availble palette of over 30 colors. Guitar Hero: On Tour

For all of you addicts who can't get enough Guitar Hero, Activision is releasing a portable version of the game for the Nintendo DS and by the looks of it, its going to either be really fun or really uncomfortable. The game uses a "Guitar Grip" accessory that plugs into the bottom of your DS that acts as the buttons and the touch screen is where you strum the guitar. The game itself will includes 20 tracks and will have multiplayer support using the DS's wireless functionality. Available this Summer. [$TBD]

Anyone who owns a gaming portable always has that one game that they always make sure they have on them wherever they take it. Arkanoid DS will undoubtedly become one of those titles and surely bring back old fans and new with 140 levels and Wifi Multiplayer. The coolest feature though, has to be the optional paddle controller that plugs into the GBA cart slot for arcade style gameplay. We do have to warn you that this is the Japanese version of the game (they have yet to announce a date for America), but it is compatible with any DS and because of its arcade-style nature you won't have to know much or any Japanese at all. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

If you're a Wii owner, there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't have this in your gaming library. Corruption follows Samus into a new adventure where the Galactic Federation's Base Sector Zero under attack, and its up to you to restore its defense systems. The game also introduces a new control style, fully utilizing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to bring the FPS experience to a whole new level. [$50]
