Amazon is giving the electronic book a much needed jump-start with their very own ebook reader, The Amazon Kindle. Kindle features a high resolution electronic ink display which is almost like reading text off a piece of paper. Books can be previewed and purchased via Amazon's "Whispernet" which uses widely available cellular connectivity so you'll never have to look for a Wi-Fi hotspot. Other specs include onboard storage for around 200 books, SD expansion, Dictionary, Wikipedia access, and a full QWERTY keyboard. [$400]

Keyport Slide Limited Edition

What has to be one of the best products to come out this year will finally be available for sale in an initial limited edition run of 5000 Keyport Slides. If you're not already familiar with the Keyport Slide, it is a slick little unit that accepts six of your keys which slide out of the Keyport with a simple slide of the finger. Future Keyports will also be able to integrate features like a led flashlight and more importantly RFID remote keyless entry. [$295]

SanDisk wants to make it easy for you to enjoy your video on any TV with their new portable TakeTV Video Player. The TakeTV accepts a variety of video file formats from your PC which can be easily dragged to the device and can be immediately played back when plugged into a TV. TakeTV is also compatible with SanDisk's new FanFare TV and Movie download service. The device comes in 4GB and 8GB models and each include the remote, cradle, and Composite/S-Video cables. Nike Amp+

If you've been working out with the Nike+iPod Sport kit, you've probably already imagined how great it would be to control your Nano without fumbling with your sport sleeve or removing your iPod. Thankfully, Nike is finally releasing the Nike Amp+ which lets you wirelessly control your iPod directly from the Amp+'s integrated controls. The holidays are coming and you know that means new iPods, first up, is Apple's new iPod Nano. The new iPod Nanos feature a thinner and shorter body, 2 inch screen, and a completely new user interface which can now use coverflow to browse music as well as play videos.
