Amazon is giving the electronic book a much needed jump-start with their very own ebook reader, The Amazon Kindle. Kindle features a high resolution electronic ink display which is almost like reading text off a piece of paper. Books can be previewed and purchased via Amazon's "Whispernet" which uses widely available cellular connectivity so you'll never have to look for a Wi-Fi hotspot. Other specs include onboard storage for around 200 books, SD expansion, Dictionary, Wikipedia access, and a full QWERTY keyboard. [$400]

Keyport Slide Limited Edition
What has to be one of the best products to come out this year will finally be available for sale in an initial limited edition run of 5000 Keyport Slides. If you're not already familiar with the Keyport Slide, it is a slick little unit that accepts six of your keys which slide out of the Keyport with a simple slide of the finger.
