2016 BMW X5 M & X6 M


BMW unleashes a duo of Bavarian brutes with the unveiling of the high-performance X5 M SUV and X6 M Crossover. The duo is the second generation of the X5 M and X6 M models and will both be powered by the previous generation's 4.4L V8, but will gain a good chunk of horsepower which is now rated at 567 hp and will get the cars from 0-60 in 4.0 seconds and will hit a limited top speed of 155 mph.

Exteriors mods to the cars come in form of large front-end air intakes, side gills, M exterior mirrors, a M line four-pipe exhaust, a rear spoiler for the X6, and 21-inch forged wheels. You also get their xDrive all-wheel-drive system, Dynamic Stability Control, and a new eight-speed Steptronic transmission with paddle shifts. The cars will hit showrooms in early 2015 and pricing will be $99650 for the X5 M and $103,050 for the X6 M.

2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport


Replacing the polarizing LR2, Land Rover reveals its entry-level SUV, the all-new Discovery Sport. Part Evoque and part Range Rover Sport in a compact package, the car shares in the new design language being used on all of their current cars and aims to be one of the most capacious on the market.
They're doing that with a 5+2, seven seater layout and the lowest priced model will get you a 240 hp 2.0L turbo engine with all wheel drive standard. It will also have a multi-link rear suspension, an 8-inch touchscreen, and an 8-inch touchscreen. The new Discovery Sport will be available in early 2015.

Toyota Land Cruiser Model 70 Re-Release

Toyota is about to release one of the most exciting cars to the market and no, we're not talking about the FT-1 Concept. Before you get too excited, this one will be exclusive to our friends in Japan. Yes, they are getting a commemorative re-release of the Land Cruise Model 70 in both "Van" and Pick-up form.

Originally launched in 1984, the special edition Model 70 will be making its way back to Toyota showrooms for its 30th anniversary and will only be on sale for a year. Both styles will be powered by a 4.0L V6 and will have part-time 4WD and a 5-speed manual transmission. While most of the design stays true to the original, the anniversary model receives a few modern tweaks including a revised grille, a new instrument panel, and modern headlights with integrated turn indicators.

2015 Volvo XC90


Volvo's got some big plans for the brand and to get things going they've unveiled the brand new XC90, the first of many launches that will jump start a whole new design and direction for the respected Swedish automaker. The new design language is confident yet perfectly Swedish in its minimalism.

Inside is a sleek new interior that truly shines while their competition continues to add more buttons and excess whereas Volvo takes the less is more approach and delivers one of the most elegant cockpits in its class. Under the hood is a 2.0L turborcharged engine in the entry-level AWD model while the flagship gets a 400-hp plug-in hybrid. When it comes to features the new XC90 will have the latest and greatest safety technologies, powerful Bowers & Wilkins sound systems, and a tablet-based center console where all the in-car controls are available with just tap of the finger.

Range Rover Sport SVR

With the help of Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations team, the Range Rover Sport can truly live up to its "Sport" designation. Making its official debut in Pebble Beach this week, the speedy SUV will be the first to wear the "SVR" badge and is the most powerful Land Rover the company has ever produced

They accomplished this with a supercharged 550-hp V8 that will get it from 0-60 in a brisk 4.5 seconds while eventually reaching its top speed of 162 mph. Those specs helped get the SVR around the legendary Nurburgring in an impressive 8 minutes and 14 seconds. As for equipment the SVR will come with an eight-speed transmission, improved aerodynamics, active roll control, Brembo brakes, and 21-inch wheels.

2015 Porsche Cayenne


Sure, the 2015 Cayenne is a refresh, but Porsche isn't treating it as such. They're launching an army of models with sharper duds, more comfort, and a brand new plug-in hybrid, the first in the luxury SUV segment.

On the exterior, the Cayenne gets a revised front and rear end with a new fender and hood, new "airblades" that directs air into the intercoolers, and a refined rear lighting system. The SUV will come in four models: The Cayenne Diesel with its 3.0L turbocharged V6, the Cayenne S with its 3.6L twin-turbo V6, and the Cayenne Turbo that is powered by a 520 hp V8 that can push the car to a top speed of 173 mph. The all-new Cayenne S E-Hybrid will make the most of its electric/gas powertrain with a total of 416 hp and a top speed of 151 mph.

2015 Ford Edge


The car that helped define the crossover segment gets a big update for 2015 with the next generation Ford Edge. The versatile crossover gets an aggressive new design, the latest Ford driver-assist technologies, and it will be the first Ford with an EcoBoost engine, standard.

Launching next year, the all-new Edge will arrive with two engine models: a 2.0L 245-hp four-cylinder EcoBoost and a 2.7L 300+ hp V6 EcoBoost in the Edge Sport. The car will feature a whole host of new tech including Active Grille Shutters to help stop air resistance, adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering technology, start-stop engine tech, a 180-degree camera with washer, Ford's signature hands-free liftgate, side parking sensors, 20-inch wheel options, and much more.

2015 BMW X6


BMW's "Sport Utility Coupe" gets a redesign for the 2015 model year and it has arrived with an aggressive new design that touts more power, and even more space. Though its design may have been considered polarizing, fans of the car have spoken and they've made their presence felt with sales of over 250,000 X6s globally so it looks like the X6 is definitely here to stay.

New to the second generation model is a much stronger and athletic look that follows the styling of the recent BMW design language. A new, twin circular headlight design complements the bold kidney grille and can be spec'd with standard Xenons or the optional LED headlights. Behind the grille is two new engine options: a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline 6 which is available in the xDrive35i and the new rear-wheel-drive sDrive35i. Both cars are capable of a 0-60 time of six seconds. The top of the line model will boast BMW's latest V8 in xDrive50i which is a 4.4L TwinPower Turbo V8 that produces 445 hp and a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds. The 2015 X6 is due to hit showrooms later this year.

Hennessey HPE550 Cadillac Escalade


No word yet if the V-Spec performance range will ever reach the Escalade, but if you do need a little more power, Hennsessey's got just the upgrade. The HPE550 kit will take that 6.2L V8 and help it achieve 557 hp and 542 lb-ft of torque that'll surely have Cayenn Turbo and GL63 drivers second guessing their purchase.

Audi TT Offroad Concept


Audi's TT line might be spawning a whole new family of cars based on the iconic design. The Offroad Concept adds a Sport Utility capability to the TT line with a compact body and a ffocus on performance and efficiency. The concept features a plug-in hybrid system that produces 408 hp, 479 lb-ft of torque, a 0-62 time of 5.2 seconds, and a governed top speed of 155 mph. It also can achieve 128 mpg and can travel up to 31 miles using only electric power.
