You didn't think Ford was going to let the Camaro and Challenger hog all the attention for this generation's pony car race did you? The 2010 Mustang evolves the current body shape into a stockier, more muscular form that echoes the acclaimed Giugiaro Mustang Concept from 2006. Engine options will include a 210 hp 4.0L V6 or a 315 hp 4.6L V8 in the GT model. Other features include LED sequential taillamps, Ford SYNC, and a Capless Fuel Filler System. 2009 Nissan 370z

Nissan's Z is getting a complete redesign for 2009 and while it still maintains the trademark shape of the original 350z, the new 370z's styling is a definite improvement. The much more pronounced wheel arches add sexy curves to the body and the new head and taillight designs give the car a more aggressive look than the previous model. Chevy Camaro SS

Chevy isn't going to let the current gas crisis stop the new Pony Car Wars and to reiterate that fact they've just unveiled the 2010 Camaro SS. Not much is known about the new SS other than what lies behind that snarling grill - 6.2 liters of American Muscle inside a V8 that can can produce 422 horsepower and 408 lb-ft of torque. Lightning GT

The new Lightning GT was just unveiled at the British Motor Show in London and by the looks of things its got us asking, Tesla who? The all carbon fiber body of the Lightning GT will be surrounding four electric motors that give the Lightning 700hp and is said to be able to use the power to get from 0-60 in four seconds. Not much is known yet about the Lightning's MSRP (or if its being released in the States at all) but they are accepting $30,000 deposits for those of you who want to be the first to own one. 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Rising Gas prices be damned! Nothing is going to stop the General from releasing one of the most beloved marques in Chevy history, the 2010 Camaro. Today GM finally unveiled the production model and its every bit as good looking as we all hoped it would be.
They also announced that the Camaro will launch with three models — an LS, LT, and a high performance SS model. The two base models will be powered by a 3.6L 296 horsepower V6 while the SS gets a 416 horsepower 6.2L V8. Additional pics after the jump. Link: $22,00-$30,000 / Source

2009 Lotus Evora

The British supercar lives! The 2009 Lotus Eagle finds its power in a Toyota 3.5 liter V6 that pushes out 276 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Lotus says the Eagle hits 60 in under five seconds and will reach a top speed of 160mph. Convertible versions and high performance models of the Eagle are also planned for release by October 2011. 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera 4

Porsche's new 911 Carrera 4 for 2009 is more efficient, has 20 more horsepower for a total of 345 hp (385 on the 4S), a Porsche Traction Management AWD system, and the infamous wide rear stance. But that's not what we're most excited about, we're just happy the signature red rear reflector strip is finally making a comeback. Link: $TBD

Historic coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring is making a comeback in a huge way with the incredibly sleek A8GCS Berlinetta Touring. The A8GCS is powered by a 400hp V8 which should be enough to take this Grand Tourer to its destination pretty damn quickly. The car also features classic Borani alloy wheels and Brembo brakes. Pontiac Solstice Coupe

As if the Pontiac Sport Ute/El Camino wasn't enough, they've decided to add a coupe version of the Solstice to their growing stable of peformance cars. A sleek fastback-style roofline differentiates itself from its roadster brethren, but still delivers an open-air driving experience with a removable hard top. Power comes from a 173hp 2.4L four cylinder engine on the base model or a turbocharged 260hp 2.0L on the GXP model. More pictures after jump. [$TBD]

Volkswagen Scirocco
