Even though Ford might be hanging on by a string at this very moment, it doesn't mean the Blue Oval will be pulling out of the Pony War anytime soon. The newly unveiled 2010 Shelby GT500 is coming to showrooms with the new 2010 Mustang body, 540 hp with 510 ft-lb of torque, and exterior enhancements such as an aluminum power dome with hood extractor and a redesigned front splitter for improved aerodynamics. 2009 BMW Z4 Roadster
For 09 BMW is introducing a new and improved Z4 with a longer body and a 20 second folding hardtop which makes the latest Z4 a true modern roadster. Two 3.0 liter inline-6 engines will be available: a twin turbo 300 hp sDriveS35i and an sDrive30i that delivers 255 hp. And when matched with the seven-speed gearbox, the sDrive35i model will hit 60 mph in just 5 seconds. More images after the jump. Link

Audi A5/S5 Cabriolet
While its not exactly prime convertible weather at the moment, Audi's new A5 & S5 Cabriolets made their debut today forgoing the popular folding hardtop trend for a much more traditional fabric soft top. The A5 model with come in two engine choices - a 2 liter four-cylinder engine or a 3.2L V6. The S5 Cabrio will be powered by a supercharged 3.0L 333 horsepower V6 that will be available in either a 6 speed manual or 7-speed S-tronic dual clutch gearbox. Available Fall 09. Bentley Azure T
Bentley's elegant land yacht of a car is now getting the convertible treatment with a 500hp Azure T model. New styling changes include 20 inch Bright Finish alloy wheels, Retractable Flying B bonnet mascot, Le Mans lower wing front air vents, and a Bentley "Jewel" Filler Cap. Interior appointments include diamond quilting on the seats and door panels, drilled alloy pedals, knurled finish on various components, and a 1100 Watt Naim sound system. More pics after the jump. Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M
A track car with drop top? We'll take two. The Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M is a race ready convertible with the same 510 horsepower V8 engine as the hardtop Scuderia and is also much lighter than its F430 Spider relative. Mercedes SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster
As if the original SLR roadster wasn't fast enough, Mercedes decided to release an even faster model with an absolutely insane top speed of 220.6 mph and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds. Because its a drop top, Mercedes and McLaren tweaked the 722 S with features such as giving it a soft top that can withstand 200+ mph speeds, improving the carbon fiber tech in the car exclusively for the roadster, and a lowered suspension gives the car better handling and stability. Bugatti's new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport improves upon perfection with a removable roof that gives you a front row seat to the monstrous symphony of noise that rumbles out of the car's 16 cylinder engine. Though they've limited the top speed to 217 mph, we doubt anyone will want to bring it close to 200 with the roof down unless you're looking for the quickest way to remove your head from your body.
