Fisker Karma

fiskerkarma.jpg

Cars that look and perform as well as the Fisker Karma, don't really have the best fuel mileage, but this isn't just any car. The Fisker Karma is the first four-door luxury hybrid that uses a small gas engine that turns the generator, charges the lithium ion batteries which then power the electric motor. All of this allows the Karma to drive emissions free for up to 50 miles if the car is charged daily and if charged daily, the owner will only need to fuel the car with gas once a year. The car can also be optioned with a solar roof that helps charge and cool the interior while parked and Fisker will even provide an option to purchase solar panels for their home to that will generate electricity during the day to help charge the car overnight, which also means zero costs and zero emissions. Hummer HX Concept

hummerhx.jpg

There's always been that my car's bigger and badder than your's complex when it comes to Humvees, and the HX concept is no exception. It looks like Humvee is aiming its HX at Jeep owners who want the open air/off road driving experience from their Wranglers but inside something with a bit more presence. The HX also features modular accessories such as a removable roof system, body panels, and fender flares. Rumor is the HX will be hitting dealer lots in 2010/11 as the Hummer H4 and we hope GM takes a cue from their Camaro development and stay as close to the concept's design as possible. [$TBD]
